Class Act, the Oratorio, which tells the story of how free school education came about in the UK, has been completed. It is available free of charge on this website. It is accompanied by other useful materials which are also free of charge.

From late October 2025 invitations will be sent out to schools and adult and youth choirs inviting them to sing the Class Act Oratorio as part of their annual performance programme between now and December 2027 in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Education Act 1944 for England and Wales, and 1946 and 1947 for Scotland and Northern Ireland, which brought about this momentous educational reform.

We have now contacted over 100 choirs in the UK asking them to consider performing Class Act.​
So far we have received 12 positive replies.
